Punchbowl Public School

Enhancing Educational Spaces

Growthbuilt has been awarded the contract for the significant upgrade of Punchbowl Public School. This project involves creating additional fit-for-purpose permanent classrooms and core facilities, relocating the administration unit to enhance security and street presence, and upgrading and refurbishing the early intervention and support classrooms.

Growthbuilt understands the vital role that educational facilities play in shaping the future of our communities. Our collaboration with Turner & Townsend and TKD Architects underscores our commitment to delivering high-quality, innovative spaces where students can thrive and excel. The project commenced with the installation of two temporary demountable classrooms in late 2023, ensuring minimal disruption to the Support Learning students while the existing Block L was prepared for demolition.

By March 2024, site establishment was underway, and demolition of Block B began. With demolition and site remediation completed, construction of the new two-storey school building started in April 2024, including significant earthworks. Early works for the new building will be completed in August, and the next stage involves constructing the new Block N. This will require removing a demountable classroom, pouring concrete for the ground floor slab, and installing underground services near Block A. We are dedicated to working with School Infrastructure NSW and the school to minimise construction impacts on the school community.
